Connecticut Mental Health Affiliates. $5,500 to support staff training in the Marschak Interaction Method at CMHA’s New Britain Child and Family Services.

Coram Deo. $20,000 for the Client Care Program.

Foodshare. $15,000 in support of work to address hunger in the New Britain community, through the Mobile Foodshare Program.

Friendship Service Center. $20,000 for the Emergency Shelter and Community Kitchen.

Literacy Volunteers of Central Connecticut. $10,000 for general operating support to improve the literacy of adult students and their families in New Britain.

Greater New Britain Teen Pregnancy Prevention. $10,000 of general operating support to maintain and enhance a long-term, comprehensive, results-cased teen pregnancy prevention program.

Mayor’s Workplan to End Homelessness. $15,000 for a new Work Plan Coordinator Position.

New Britain ROOTS. $10,000 for the New Britain Mobile Farmers’ Market to provide healthy food options to residents with low access to healthy food.

Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters. $10,000 for the Community-Based Mentoring Program.

Prudence Crandall Center. $20,000 for Community Education and Prevention Services.

Queen Ann Nzinga. $10,000 to support Nzinga’s Watoto community education program.

Trinity-On-Main. $7,500 to replace unsafe theater carpeting.

Veterans, Inc. $13,412 for a new resident advisor position.

YWCA Strive. $10,000 to support the youth development program.
